I read this book to my Nana and as I was reading the book we learned some interesting things! So here's one of the things that we thought was interesting. So when you see something like this 1:10,000, that means in 1 inch of the map is 10,000 miles on the ground. Then the other thing was that to make a map you have to lay the peeling of the earth down flat on a table. You don't really take the actual crust of the earth you just take pictures of the earth's crust and lay them flat on a table! The pictures would probably be animated. Well that is some stuff that we thought was very interesting!
I thought that knowing Mexico is the worlds largest capital was pretty interesting because I never knew that. I thought that how much natural food is there is also interesting because here in America we have some unhealthy food here. And knowing that there had to be a Spanish rule till 1836 was interesting cause that is a long time for a rule. Yes Mexico is the worlds largest capital. And the longest country in the region is Cuba. Managua is Nicaragua's capital.

Today's lesson it Geography was about Czechoslovakia.
Central Europe was once a whole town called Czechoslovakia. Then one day there was a very big earthquake, it parted Czech from Slovakia. Ever since the parting, it had messed with all the other countries like Turkey. So now it's just Czech and Slovakia. Czech has all the cars and big buildings. Slovakia is more like with barns, small houses, lakes and very little people. I would much rather be in the Slovakia part, I grew up in the country part of where I live. It is also very beautiful seeing the rivers and mountains in the sun light. Hearing the birds at day and frogs at night.
