Welcome to your first day of school! I'm so excited! I know that you're going to learn a lot and I hope that we all have fun doing this! Can't wait to get started on your first full week!
My student news paper My first weeks of school were great!!! Its just one thing I kind of got behind with my work but I caught up. I like being home schooled! But I probably want, want to be homeschooled all the time because I do miss a lot of my friends and I like public schools. But the thing about being homeschooled is the stuff is a bit to hard and I don’t like using a computer to post I’d rather do it old school like when you give you the teachers your work and they grade it and they give it back to you. And you have homework I like home work. But I still like being homeschooled! But there is a lot of reading and I don’t like that. But guess what I get to dissect a pig! I get to also get to pick out an experiment and do it and post it on youtube!
so far I'm not enjoying home school, I miss my friends. There's to much reading and to much writing.The work is to much and today I'm not liking having to write so much.
When I went to this forest festival I got to hold a red tail hawk! When held it the guy was telling me so much info about them. Like how they ketch their pray with their talon's. I was so happy that I got to hold a hawk for the first time! Well good by!
On morning I went down town with my mom, Aunt Krista and my cousin Liliana. We went to a museum, it's called The Mineral and Lapidary Museum of Henderson County.
When I went to that museum I got to pick out a geode and crack it! It has all kinds of minerals in it. The guy said it was a 4 million year old gas bubble in it and that I was the first person to see it. The rock is super pretty in the sun light!
I went to Wadesboro last weekend! I saw my cousin Will and his parents! I saw all kinds of people! When I went to my Aunt Gene's house Will and I spent the night and we got to play on his play set. I had a blast in Wadesboro! I can't wait to go back!
I am happy when I volunteer at the steadfast house. It really lights up my day seeing people love the food we cook for them. Here are my answers to some questions. I like volunteering at the steadfast house because helping people makes me so happy. To make people smile it's so great. I want to volunteer at Brother Wolf were I got my dog as my future volunteering. I really like to work with animals. I volunteer to help people who need food and who need help. That is what I think about volunteering!
I went to my enrichment class at first baptist. I thought that it was great! I had baked beans and beef jerky! I was learning about cowboys so I dressed up as a cowgirl. I also mad two new friends. That's how fun my class was.
I had fun at the beach. I meet a girl and played with her. The weather was cold. I found shark teeth. I liked eating ice cream and played guitar on the beach. And I liked swimming in the pools.
I went to ATLANTA!!!!!!!!! I had the best time there! I stayed at a hotel with an indoor heating pool! But, really the water was cold. It was a very fancy hotel. I got to go see a David Crowder concert it was amazing! There were to other bands before David. They were great! I liked David the most though. I got really tired because it was like a 3 hr concert. Then, when we were on are way back home we went to this National store. They had food from all over the world. Here's what all I got! I got Lychee, Cane stick, Lychee candy, Japan soda, Russian chocolate it was good and a Chinese rice cake. Then, I went home saw my mom and dad and I was happy.
What I like about basket ball is its a fun sport. I like that my coach is nice. What I don't like about basket ball is that my game had to be on a Saturday the day when every one is leaving. Yes, I am excited about playing basket ball because I grew up doing this sport with my brother. And I like that I'm good at it so no one can make fun of how bad I am.
Oh Christmas the time when you are with friends and family. The best part of Christmas is when my family and me go to eat a giant feast. That defiantly fills you up. I also like seeing all the Christmas decorations and opening presents. The trees are very pretty most of the time. You know presents are like a box of chocolate you never know what your going to get. I love seeing family and friends but family always comes first. And I just love the most famous Christmas flower the poinsettia! They are such pretty flowers. And I can not wait for this Christmas! I love my familia!
I liked going to Charlotte. I saw my friends. I went to elevation. We opened presents. I liked drinking sparkling cider. I liked waving the glow sticks at church. I had fun. I am looking foward to doing that again. I did not like sitting in line freezing.
A cockatiel is a real gental creature. It is beautiful. It has a mohack. They have red cheeks. They love to sing and talk. They live up to 25 years. They can get a little big. They are my favorite kind of bird. They love fruits and veggies, so that means I don't have to do the airplane to it, poor children. Haha. And they are amazing little creatures. That is a cockatiel.
Alex is an African grey parrot. It was born 1976. He was a very smart bird.his owner Pepperberg. Alex became a bird of science. He had very good grammer. He knew what stuff was. He knew what it ment. He lived for 31 years. He died September 6th, 2007. Give around of aplause for the smart bird that lived for 31 years.
Last week I went to the beach. The first one was Myrtle beach. I liked going I had such a great time. That is what I get to do when I'm home schooled. The Hotel we stayed at in Myrtle was amazing, it had some heated pools and lazy rivers, they had hot tubs and water slides, and the beach was right in our view from the balcony. I didn't exactly get in the beach water cause it was still cold from the winter. But we walked and found amazing shells and I found some crabs and sea urchins. We had root beer float's we watched the voice and some movies. Then on Friday we left to go to Hilton Head. Lee also met us at the Hotel in Hilton and she stayed with us. We went and had Vietnamese noodles. Then the next morning we went to good will and back to have noodles. And on Friday we played phase 10. The second day we walked on the beach. There were a lot of jelly fish on the shore. Then we got to this rocky area and saw horseshoe crabs, they're the kind of crabs that look like a sting ray. And the next morning we left and went home. starring Davida Falk, Grace Davidson and me.
I have had a few pottery classes this month. They were so fun. I want to keep going to these classes. I made many things. I made bowls and ring holders and mugs and butter holders and candy dishes and flower holders. I went with my friend Victoria. I have an eye for pottery my mom said to me. I can't wait to see how the rest of my stuff turned out. pottery is so fun. I am looking forward to more of it.
