Today from reading page 1-20 about France is the capital is Paris. France is sometimes called the hexagon because of its shape. The Griffon vulture was almost extinct but now it has been protected. There were a lot of kings back then. Charlemagne in 800 he was then named the emperor of western Europe. Western Europe has been a leader of the arts for years and that is what I learned.
You did a great job on this paragraph about what you learned today! It sounds very interesting.
I have a couple of questions for you.
Can you try making the first sentence into two sentences? Can you try putting the words in the fifth sentence in a different order or sequence? Example : "George in 1200" or "In 1200 George"
NgCheong-Lum France has a population of 58,000,000 people! There is a little bit more women in France. There's a southern & northern part of France. People n the northern part have blue eyes and fair hair. People in the southern part have a darker color. France is made up of many different Africans. France has been a republic place for years. In school the middle class is called the bourgeoisie. That is a hard name to pronounce. Well any way a majority of the population belongs in this class.
Some people have owned their home for generations. Did you know that eleven year-old kids go to secondary school (college). Then at fifteen they go to university college now remember this is France they have different ways and culture as we do. 90 percent of the french population are Christian. But, what they mean by Christian is like Catholic or someone who has never been to church before or they don't believe in GOD.

Did you know that French is a romance language and so is Spanish I'm learning Spanish Hola! The very first French drawing is over 15,000 years old! wow that's old! The first real French school is 16-18 centuries ago. Two men in France would paint landscapes. In early 19th century witnessed a musical genius. The 11th century witnessed architecture. Did you know rural architecture is a product of local materials. And did you know that bike riding on the country side on a summer day is popular. That sound's fun! The french families like spend their free time together. There are two popular theme parks in France. The sport soccer is a popular sport in France. Each region in France has it's own special food.
The day starts with bread. Then the bread is washed down with some milk or some hot chocolate for the young one's. Some eat yogurt or some fresh white cheese. France's favorite food is bread. Places,ideas and festivals are closest to the french heart. Parc Asterix is the french way of Disney Land! Gauls are Celts who migrated France. The man who made the Eiffel tower also made the Statue of Liberty that was sent here to America that is now in New York on an island that people ride boats to. Paris is also called the city of lights. There was a very deadly invention that was invented by a doctor it was a deadly punishment. In the 19th century France built something called the empire, it span's countries which creates the four corners of the world.
French foods and wine's are best known in the world. In france every one love's producing wines. The word impressionist first used by a jouralist. Joan was burned at stake in 1431. The perfume industry in France has flourished since King louis. One of the greatest kings in france louis xiv was called the sun king.

What I thought was interesting was the highest point is Mount Meron. Israel stands on a narrow strip of land. There is a sea called The Dead Sea that sounds scary. I think that Israel is an interesting place.

Israel has a river called The Jordan river. People who can't even swim, can't even sink in the dead sea even if they tried they couldn't!!! Your probably wondering why it's called the dead sea? Well here's your answer, it's because it has so much salt in the sea that no animals like fish,shark and crocodile can't survive in the water. That sounds bad! The dead sea actually lies at the mouth of the Jordan river. There is a desert in Israel that's called the Negev Desert. That desert has lots of plants that store lots of water. Good cause there going to need it! Israel is home to 70 different mammals. Wow that's a lot!!! A caracal is one of the large animals and it is a cat that lives in that desert I was just telling you about.

Something I thought that was very interesting. There is 280 national parks in Israel! There is nature reserves in Israel which all together that covers about 1,540 square miles!!! That is more than 20 percent of the country! Over 90 percent of Israel's population lives in Urban. Jerusalem is Israel's largest city and the nations capital. It's also the world's most popular cities.Oh wait the worlds most famous cities! That some interesting stuff! Well that's all for today I'll give you more info later.

There was something called holy wars. It was in the 1000's when Christian's were increasingly concerned. There was also something called 4 Centuries of Turkish rule's but to leave you on a cliff hanger you have to read about that some time. Jews were forced to separate from Europeans in areas.

160 automobiles per every mile. Israel's roads are the most congested roads in the world! wow! If I go to Israel I would rather take a plane! That would be fun to go to Israel! Israel's main public transportation is the bus since the roads are so packed. The main airport in Israel is at Lod. buses provide main sources of transportation because the roads in Israel. There so packed!!! Ah!

The dead sea is supposed to be good for your skin. Your supposed to put mud on before you go in the dead sea. I would like to go in the dead sea. Well that is what interested me!
A covenant is a promise. The Holy covenant is a promise God gave to the Jews. I believe that God will keep his promise he made with the Jews. 2.I don't know? Maybe because it's an important Hebrew word. 3. Other people were trying to destroy them. People were becoming slaves.
They both fought for so long and one of them was more violent. yes I agree because they all love that place they grew up there I mean who would want to grow up some were and then someone tries to take it from you. to pray and pray Because God is the one who helps everyone. I think that they should keep fighting for it because same thing they built that and know one else should have the rights to take it away from them. Hmm if I were a teacher and used this book for students I would do the same thing make them read and answer the questions.
Cause their homes were taken away, and yes they should create more towns because they don't know what's coming for them it might happen again.cause they know whats happened before.
because there is some thing in it for them. they want a new home to, we can help them get stronger because people help you repay them cause 1 it's respectful 2 they did some thing for you.
they worked hard they didn't have enough money. they made money by making special crafts so they could have food and fresh water they had to walk and they didn't have enough food or water. they argued over the food.
yes and no, yes cause it seems you get to do some fun things, no cause I would miss my family. yes, cause it teaches them to work hard for food and stuff.
Yes, cause those were their homes and the want them back. They will do any thing that they can do to get them back. As fortres Cause it is a religuos place
