Did you know that the capital of France is Paris. France is sometimes called the Hexagon cause of the shape. The Griffon vulture was almost extinct but, now they have been protected. There were a lot of kings back then. In 800 Charlemagne was named the emperor of Western Europe. Western Europe has been leader of arts for years.
The day starts with bread, Then washed down with milk or hot chocolate for the young one's. Some eat yogurt or fresh white cheese. France's favorite food is bread.
Places,ideas and festivals are closest to the french heart. Parc-Arterix is the french way of Disney land. Gauls were Celt's who migrated from France. The man who built the Eiffel tower also built the Statue of Liberty that was sent to America that is now in new york on an island. Paris is also called the city of lights. The guillotine was a deadly punishment. In the 19th century France built something called the empire,The empire is spanning countries creating the four corners of the world.
Washington Essay Hello! I read a book that was about Washington! I just finished the book but, I’m only going to tell you about three different things. Okay here we go! Did you know Washington D.C. is the most important city? And almost four million people live there! Washington is one of the few largest cities. In 1939 a movie was released called “Mr. Smith goes to Washington”. Washington is the only city that’s not part of any state. Millions visit Washington, Most people go to the historic city center. Washington has a famous symbol. The symbol is the Washington monument. The Washington monument is best known. After the revolutionary war the US emerged as a nation. The revolutionary war was in 1775-1783. Before and after war the US had no permanent capital city. George Washington was the first president. The early discussion thought they should name the future capital Washington after the first president. The southern and northern compromised in 1789. George Washington was born in Virginia and grew up there near the Potomac river. Smallpox killed a lot of Indians smallpox was a disease that the Europeans brought. There were African slaves in D.C. which makes no sense because Washington is supposed to be a place of freedom. L’Efant was a French engineer. He died in 1825 with no money. That’s not all. 200 years ago most original trees were chopped down. Now today in Washington there is about 1,800 plants and 250 shrubs. Today the most celebrated trees in Washington is the Japanese cherry tree. Some 150 parks of various size dot the city. City gardeners plant many different plants and flowers. The cities temp is 37f in January and in July 78f. snow in Washington can make work and traffic still. Once again that’s not all. Washington’s historic sites are delightful places. The union stations main hall is 96 feet long! Thousands of stamps are on display! 540 rooms are open. Capitol hill is home of the united states garden. That’s all for the day. Yesterday I just finished reading a history book, the book is called A History of Us 1945-1999 book 10. That is the longest title I have ever had to write! The author is Joy Hakim. Not as long as the title!
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated, everyone thought that he was a special person. He was killed by the government, because he disagreed with William F. Pepper's claims the government killed Dr. King. 2 months after King was killed Robert Kennedy was assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan.
All blacks and some whites were tired of segregation. The blacks were tired of being tortured. They were tired of being mistreated. Then segregation was finally over! NO MORE SEGREGATION!
That's what I learned from history! what about you?
Yesterday I finished a book about Israel. It is a great book. It is about culture in Israel.
The dead sea is supposed to be good for your skin. Your supposed to put mud on before you go in the dead sea. I would like to go in the dead sea.
160 automobiles per every mile. Israel's roads are the most congested roads in the world! wow! If I go to Israel I would rather take a plane! That would be fun to go to Israel! Israel's main public transportation is the bus since the roads are so packed. The main airport in Israel is at Lod. buses provide main sources of transportation because the roads in Israel.
Back then Israel was a poor place. Now Israel is expensive. About 50 percent of Israel businesses are privately owned.
A few weeks ago I went to Charlot. When I went to Charlot I went to the Discovery Place. Then I stayed with this lady, her name is Angela. She has 3 boys their names are Jordan,Johnathan and Jeremy. When I left I went to an Airplane museum.
I think that it is interesting that the United states has 50 states. And that it's a third of the way around the earth and is crossing 8 time zones. The rocky mountain is our emblem. Because it shows honor to those people carved on it. The United states citizens guarantees are Labor market. Community services. Reduce poverty.
I thought that knowing Mexico is the worlds largest capital was pretty interesting because I never knew that. I thought that how much natural food is there is also interesting because here in America we have some unhealthy food here. And knowing that there had to be a Spanish rule till 1836 was interesting cause that is a long time for a rule. Yes Mexico is the worlds largest capital. And the longest country in the region is Cuba. Managua is Nicaragua's capital.
