Please read Mitosis on page 26. Then read the Special Feature on Cells on page 27. Please write the function of these other organelles in animal and plant cells by looking them up on the internet: *Centrioles, nucleolus, golgi apparatus, ribosome, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, and lysosome. Next, on separate note cards write the 5 main structures of animal cells: cell membrane, nucleus, vacuoles, mitochondria and cytoplasm. On the back of each note card write the definition of each word.
